Small Communities

We love to do life together as a church in smaller groups. These groups usually meet in someone’s house, though they can also meet in coffee shops, village halls, or anywhere really.

Our vision as a church is for every village and town to have a vibrant small Christian community, serving those we do life with, and organically growing the church at a very local level. These small communities are great for growing as disciples, for being known, and for expressing faith in creative and relatable ways. We sometimes call these groups ‘Small Boats’ (find out more about what mean here).

Some of these groups will meet on the Sunday on weeks 2, 4, and 5 as part of their wider rhythm of doing life together. These Sundays might also be used in different ways, for example for inviting friends for lunch or for going on a walk with others. Our desire is to leave space on these Sunday’s for people to explore whatever it is that they feel God is calling them to do.
